Stage Fright

The Motto of the Show: „Actors onto the TV screen! or You can never know, who is going to turn out to be the new Zoltán Latinovits or Éva Ruttkai” (Pál Sándor)

Presenting the life and activity of different grades of selected versatile talents at the Theater and Film Academy, the entertaining series runs Monday nights on MTV. In the fifty-minute-parts of the series looking back to a tradition of close to ten years, young “titans” and their teachers present their character’s and talent’s fascinating individual colors. The show consists of documentary-like presentation of college-life, and show-like productions of outstanding level i.e. talks, songs, fun, narratives, dance, and scenes from plays. In the different parts of the series the audience can get acquainted with the classes of Sándor Simó, Gábor Máté, István Horvai, and Géza Hegedűs D. Previously produced by Novofilm and since 2003 by Hunnia Film Studio, the entertaining show has been on air about 20 times.
In 2003 Stage Fright, a production of the Hunnia Film Studio, has been awarded the Camera Hungaria, the highest accolade of the Hungarian television industry.
